History of Reclamation
In 2013, Pastor Jeremiah and his family moved to Pittsburgh, PA to plant Harvest Bible Chapel Pittsburgh East. They began with just one family and quickly grew to 84 people by the time the church was launched on September 22nd, 2013. God was growing his church on the East side of Pittsburgh!
Harvest began meeting together on Sunday mornings at Gateway Middle School and then on May 21st, 2017 they held their first service at their newly acquired building located at 285 St. Martins Dr. Because of the faithful giving of God’s people at Harvest they were able to purchase and restore this lovely old church building that sits on a hill overlooking highway 376.
God continued to add many people to Harvest so that in August of 2017 they began offering two worship services on Sunday mornings. God has also done numerous amazing things in the people of Harvest: many lost souls have found Jesus, many people in our community have been truly loved and cared for, many broken-hearted people have been restored and many hungry hearts have been fed by the substantial richness of God’s Word.
Harvest was planted to be a church-planting-church, so starting new churches has always been an essential part of their DNA! In 2015, they planted Harvest Bamenda in Cameroon Africa, which continues to grow and flourish amid many political and social challenges. In 2019, Harvest was renamed Reclamation Church.
God is at work in Pittsburgh and its surrounding communities and Reclamation has a front row seat to watch Him move! Reclamation started in 2013, and the exciting thing is that their story is just beginning. May God continue to use Reclamation in Monroeville, PA and beyond for his glory!
